Many site owners check their Google rankings, but few check whether AI answers mention their site. This review looks at AIOCROSS, a Windows app made in Japan that records both: your Google search rank, and whether Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini mention your site when asked the questions you care about.

What AIOCROSS does
AIOCROSS records search results under the same conditions each time, so you can see change over time. Its main functions are:
- Record your Google search rank and show the change since the last check
- Check whether your site is shown or mentioned in Google AI Overview
- Check whether ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini mention your site in answer to the same question, side by side
- Pass the collected data to an AI assistant for analysis, improvement ideas and article planning
The app runs on Windows 10/11 (64-bit) and is distributed through the Microsoft Store. It does not support macOS or smartphones. The official site is in Japanese.

Points are used per check: a Google rank or AI Overview check costs 2 points, and a check of AI answers from ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini (AIO) costs 35 points. You can buy 1,000 extra points for JPY 1,000.

It was convenient that I only had to hand the exported data to an AI, and it organized the ranking trends, improvement ideas and what to check next.

I think it is useful that you can see not only SEO but also exposure in AI, and get concrete improvement ideas from the collected data. Overall, the idea of connecting the collected SEO and AIO data directly to AI analysis is very easy to understand, and I think it is useful that it goes beyond viewing rankings and leads to article improvements.

How to use it
The basic flow has four steps.
Start with a small set of keywords
You do not need many. Pick a few phrases that are close to your business and that people actually search:
- Words your customers use when they look for your service
- Questions customers really ask you
- Phrases where you want to know how you compare with competitors
AI mentions are checked with a full question rather than a keyword, for example: “Which tools can track my site’s visibility in AI answers?”
Hand the data to your AI assistant
Once data has accumulated, ask an AI to analyze it. For example:
- “Which keywords dropped since last month, and what might explain it?”
- “For the questions where no AI mentions us, suggest five article topics.”
- “Summarize three things to check over the next week.”

With your own API keys, AI-answer checks no longer use points
On the Standard plan you can set your own API keys for ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini. When you do, AIO checks use no points. A check that normally costs 35 points can be repeated as often as you like, with no points deducted.
Your API keys are stored only inside the app on your own PC. The AI services charge their own usage fees separately. Google rank checks still cost 2 points each.

Google rank, AI Overview, and ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini are recorded under the same conditions, so you do not need to switch between tools.
Designed to pass data to AI
The Standard plan includes AI_WORKSPACE, which exports results in a form AI can read, and MCP integration. With MCP, as one tester described, you can simply ask your AI assistant to “add” a site or “measure” it.
